The Epic Zeeland Criterium...

Once again we tried to have Parker participate in the Zeeland Kid's Bike Race at the Criterium.  We rushed through dinner, threw the kids in the car, quickly registered him and got ready at the start line, but it was all for naught...Parks decided he didn't want to race at the last minute!  We still had fun and enjoyed eating ice cream and watching the professional racers.  Here's to next year!

The Cottage Life...

This year we had our own little cottage all to ourselves.  Joel and I enjoyed sleeping on twin trundle beds for the week...well, the kids for sure loved jumping and playing on them!  The kids also loved playing in our cottage, splashing in the water, spending time with their cousins and taking long naps!  It was a bit of a rainy week, but still a lot of fun was had!

At the cottage we announced to the family that we will be adding another little one to our family next year!  I was thankful for a laid back week with lots of time for naps!
