The kids were so excited all day. The joy they had was so fun and contagious! At the end of the night I told Joel this was one of the best days I have had in forever! Looking forward to the rest of the Christmas season!

Christmas Decorating Day...
The Christmas spirit is alive and well at the Nagelkirk house today!! We spent the day decking the house out Christmas style! We started out at Teusink's Pony Farm for a Christmas Tree picking party...free Christmas tree, donuts and hot chocolate, seeing and feeding the animals and walking around the beautiful property. Once home Parker and I decorated the tree and the inside of the house while daddy hung lights up on the outside of the house (the 1st time we have ever done this!). Parker was so hilarious as he helped me. He was very serious about his job and really did awesome helping set things up! His favorite part was hanging colored lights in his and Peyton's room. He kept running in there to look at them and even ran next door to invite John and Kalee over to check them out!

Can I take your picture?!?...
Parker has become quite the photographer lately. He has taken pictures of everything (literally!) in our house, at my parent's house, outside, etc. I deleted close to 1,000 of his pictures from my camera! It has been really fun to see his perspective on life and several of the pictures actually turned out really nice! Here are a few that I kept.

1st Hair Cut...
Peyton was starting to have a mullet so we got her a little trim. A few tears were shed as she was a little uncertain about the hair cutting process. She looks so cute but sadly looks older now. Our little girl is growing up!

Happy Halloween...
Another rainy Halloween...how can this be?!? It has been sunny and 60 degrees for the last 3 weeks! It was way too cold and rainy to take the kids out so we headed back to Providence CRC for some quick indoor Trick-or-Treating and then went to cheer up G & G Marble with some cute kids in cute costumes!

Biking Babe...
This summer Peyton got so good on her balance bike.
She loves cruising around and going "fast" (as she claims)!
8 months....
Sawyer is on the go crawling every where starting this month. It is obvious to us that he will not be like Parker and Peyton...he is into everything! His favorite things are to be in the cupboards in the kitchen...baking sheets, under the sink, the pantry, the fridge...he likes it all!
Started eating big boy snacks. He loves to crawl around with them just hanging out of his mouth!
A few other happenings from this month...
-Sawyer finally evened out in his mouth and got his 8th tooth on the bottom. The drooling continues!
-While getting ready for church one morning someone left the door to the garage open and Sawyer pushed the screen door opened and fell out of the house into the garage. He fell down 2 concrete steps. He cried hard but didn't look too bad....a little scrap on his nose. We dropped him off at nursery but by the time we picked him up it looked much worse...a bigger scrap (road rash style) appeared and it looked a swollen and red all over. I think he face planted on the concrete step. Poor buddy!
-Sawyer continues to be super chill. He just goes with the flow, plays nicely, barely cries.
-Sawyer's favorite place to be is at mommy's feet hanging onto my legs. It makes it difficult to ever get anything done!
-Our little buddy is a terrible sleeper! He is up several times at night and only a bottle will get him back to sleep. When I burp him in the night I hold his head in my hand and he just falls asleep while I hold his head!
-Sawyer started saying what sounds like "mama". I don't think he is actually knowing that he is saying my name but I am excited because both of the other kids called me "dadda" for the longest time!
-Sawyer gave me my 1st open mouth kiss...slobbery but cute.
