From the Lips of Babes...

While driving home from Grand Rapids tonight we had a fun conversation about Santa and whether he is real or not.  We told Parker the truth that he was not real, but that some kids think he is and we don't want to ruin their fun!  We then saw that JQ99 had put up some Christmas decorations including the Star of David.  I pointed this out to the kids and reminded them that the Star of David showed everyone where baby Jesus was born.  Parker then exclaims, "Wait a minute! This (Zeeland) used to be Bethlehem?!?!?"  Hehe!  Joel and I had a good laugh over that!  So cute!

Fall Soccer...

Parker joined his 1st soccer team through Park Township!!  The green Roadrunners were adorable!  Per usual, Parker was very apprehensive his first few practices and games, but by the last game was right in the thick of it all kicking, running and playing hard with his teammates!  So proud of how far he came this season.  It was so cute how oblivious he was about things at times...completely unaware that there was a game going on around him or that the ball just passed him!  He had Joel and I laughing a lot!

Triponds Fall Camping...

Our mom's group headed out once again for an extended weekend of Fall family camping!!  The weather forecast was terrible...rain every day and cold, but it ended up being less rainy than anticipated so we were able to still have a great time!!!  Last year repeated itself with the adults sitting around the campfire every night with umbrellas. 

Good food.
