The week after Parker turned two was pure craziness...our little innocent boy turned into a little terror! He started throwing fits (we are talking screaming at the top of his lungs and throwing himself around!) when he had to come inside from playing or do anything he didn't want to do such as taking a bath! We could not figure out what happened. We did start laying down the law about the paci...he now can only have it in bed. Apparently the paci had been pacifying him! Lucky for us it didn't last too long. There has been a few random incidences but nothing as bad as that first week.
We have been seeing glimpses of things that remind us of how we thought our teenagers would act...really funny!
1. On several occasions Parker has started calling me "Mom". That in itself isn't terrible but it is the way he says it...with an attitude!
2. Parker wakes up some mornings and the first thing out of his mouth is, "No kisses this morning Mom"!
3. While showering I thought Parker was sleeping but when I got out he was yelling for me so I quickly toweled off and went to his room. Once in his room he points to my chest and says, "What's that"?!? Startled I tell him they are boobies (hindsight I would have said breasts...just sounds more civil)! He then looks at me seriously and says, "I like boobies"!
4. Parker is starting to have an opinion about clothes. Once he gets an idea in his head about what he want to wear...clothes, shoes and socks...there is no changing his mind!
5. Parks goes through stages of not wanting me to kiss or hug him! Sad day!
6. He has already become obsessed with his penis. In the bath tub he can't stop playing with it. He proudly proclaims, "I touch my pee-pee"! Then the other day he was pushing it in and asking me where it went...then he would laugh and say, "It's hiding from you"!
