Nebbie the Nebulizer...

Parker was acting a little out of sorts for a while...nothing major but at night he would breath really hard/loud and would wheeze a little.  I took him in just to double check things and shortly after arriving he was being hooked up to a Nebulizer!  They tested the levels of oxygen that were getting to his finger tips and they were 92...98-100 is normal and below 90 is dangerous for children.  After the Nebbie treatment he was at a 96 so they sent us home with a Nebulizer to do treatments every 4 hours!  It was so sad to see him wearing the mask...he looked so sad and he didn't like it very much!  After about 6 days of using it he was breathing much easier so we were able to stop.  They explained to us that this doesn't necessarily mean that he will have asthma but he could.  More than likely though it is just that he has a virus that inflamed his airways and since they are so small right now it is making it difficult for him to breath.

Coast Guard...

Ryan was working at the Holland Coast Guard this weekend and invited us out to have a tour and take a look at the boat.  It was really fun to see where Ryan works and meet some of his co-workers.  Parker really liked sitting in the boat!

5 Months...

Our sweet little girl is getting so big!  Eating food like crazy, laughing at Parker all the time, rolling over a little (pretty much only when she is in her crib!) and blessing our family!

Stats: 25'' (54th percentile) & 12 lbs. 15 oz. (14th percentile)

4th of July on the water...

We chartered out onto Lake Macatawa and the big Lake Michigan for some boating, tubing and wavy adventures with the Lambert family!  I always thought our boat seemed big when we were on Indian Lake but once we loaded up 6 adults, 5 kids, 1 car seat, 2 coolers, groceries, 3 beach bags, life jackets for everyone, snacks, 2 tubes and a few other things the boat was feeling packed!  Add in some winds and waves and it sometimes felt like we were going under as the waves crashed into the boat!  Always an adventure!  We had fun pulling the boys tubing (Parks even gave it a very small try), going through the channel to Lake Michigan, docking "close" to the beach for some fun in the sand and dinner and spending time together!

4th of July...

We spent the weekend as a family at the beach, doing a few sparklers and building a sandbox!  We are loving this beautiful weather and all things summer!

Hard at work building the sandbox...then hard at work playing!

Our 4th of July Beauty...

 Barrel rides through the neighborhood...

Sparklers...they were from the Dollar Store so we were a little nervous but they ended up being great!
