Parker was acting a little out of sorts for a while...nothing major but at night he would breath really hard/loud and would wheeze a little. I took him in just to double check things and shortly after arriving he was being hooked up to a Nebulizer! They tested the levels of oxygen that were getting to his finger tips and they were 92...98-100 is normal and below 90 is dangerous for children. After the Nebbie treatment he was at a 96 so they sent us home with a Nebulizer to do treatments every 4 hours! It was so sad to see him wearing the mask...he looked so sad and he didn't like it very much! After about 6 days of using it he was breathing much easier so we were able to stop. They explained to us that this doesn't necessarily mean that he will have asthma but he could. More than likely though it is just that he has a virus that inflamed his airways and since they are so small right now it is making it difficult for him to breath.
