Parker is loving being a big brother and is doing a pretty good job of sharing our attention with Peyton. Lately he is seeming so old and is becoming more independent.

(Oops! Forgot to take the monthly picture!)
9 weeks...grabbing at toys that hang in front of her under the play mat. She grabs a hold of it and shakes it around!
9 weeks...smiles at her reflection in a mirror! She loves to see herself which is apparent from her coos and smirks!
9 weeks...Colicky behavior has come to an end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are beyond thrilled! There are no words to describe how much our lives have changed for the better...we no longer dread the sun going down!
10 weeks...started sleeping 10 hours through the night and started going to bed at 8-8:30pm!!!! These two milestones in addition to the colicky behavior stopping have made us feel like ourselves once again! Truly an answer to prayers! We really appreciated everyone's support during that time in our life!
11 weeks...while waiting in Peyton's room after feeding her in the morning I heard her hit the side of the crib kind of hard. When I checked on her she was lying on her back meaning that she rolled over from her stomach to her back! That is definitely the first time that has happened!
11 weeks...sitting in the Bumbo now! Nice to have another place to set her. She can't last too long yet but she is doing really well.
12 weeks...bike ride in the Chariot!!! She went around the block with Joel and then up and down the street. At first she cried a little but she liked it once she got going!
Stats: 10 lbs. 13 ozs. (10th%...getting bigger!)
A fund raiser basketball game took place tonight and even Joel played a little! We were a little hesitant about injuring his back but he took it easy and it was a really fun game to watch. HCHS staff won, but there was a few sketchy calls at the end that were game changing. My pictures are terrible because Peyton was fussy which limited me!
A little bit of an unfair tip off!
Behind the back pass...he's got skills!
The week after Parker turned two was pure craziness...our little innocent boy turned into a little terror! He started throwing fits (we are talking screaming at the top of his lungs and throwing himself around!) when he had to come inside from playing or do anything he didn't want to do such as taking a bath! We could not figure out what happened. We did start laying down the law about the paci...he now can only have it in bed. Apparently the paci had been pacifying him! Lucky for us it didn't last too long. There has been a few random incidences but nothing as bad as that first week.
We have been seeing glimpses of things that remind us of how we thought our teenagers would act...really funny!
1. On several occasions Parker has started calling me "Mom". That in itself isn't terrible but it is the way he says it...with an attitude!
2. Parker wakes up some mornings and the first thing out of his mouth is, "No kisses this morning Mom"!
3. While showering I thought Parker was sleeping but when I got out he was yelling for me so I quickly toweled off and went to his room. Once in his room he points to my chest and says, "What's that"?!? Startled I tell him they are boobies (hindsight I would have said breasts...just sounds more civil)! He then looks at me seriously and says, "I like boobies"!
4. Parker is starting to have an opinion about clothes. Once he gets an idea in his head about what he want to wear...clothes, shoes and socks...there is no changing his mind!
5. Parks goes through stages of not wanting me to kiss or hug him! Sad day!
6. He has already become obsessed with his penis. In the bath tub he can't stop playing with it. He proudly proclaims, "I touch my pee-pee"! Then the other day he was pushing it in and asking me where it went...then he would laugh and say, "It's hiding from you"!
