Big Star Lake...Family Time!

We headed up north to Big Star Lake for the Annual Nagelkirk Cottage Week.  It was only my 2nd time at the cottage, but it is already something I look forward to throughout the year.  It was a beautiful week where we were able to spend countless hours together visiting, eating, reading, playing in the water, tubing, eating more, sitting around the campfire and just truly relaxing without a care in the world.  No schedule for a whole week besides the 10 course dinners every night at 5:00pm.  

 

The weather was sunny with clear blue skies which was perfect for playing at the beach and catching some rays.

Dan and Joel needed to warm up for the golf tournament so we went for a practice round one night.  I volunteered to be the caddy/golf cart driver...in my opinion that is the best part of the whole sport!

  

Unfortunately I had to leave a few days early due to not enough vacation time, but it still was a restful and fun week with the Nagelkirk Family.  I feel blessed to be a part of such a fabulous and special tradition...this was the 23rd year they have done this!
