Roses and Thorns...

We just got back from Spring Break in Destin, Fl. There are lots of stories to share, but I could get carried away so I am using an idea of Jodie's. Several nights at dinner Jodie would ask Joseph to share his roses (favorite stuff) and thorns (least favorite stuff) from the day. I am translating that into our whole trip.

Roses:
Got to spend the whole week as a family.
Spent lots of quality time with great friends and their children.
Parker got to play with other kids 24/7.
Awesome play area at the mall and at the church which Parker loved.
Fun in the sun, sand and pool.
Afternoon nap times...adults laid at the pool with no kids!
Bike rides with the Chariot.
Awesome food!
Good chiropractor we found to help Joel's back feel better.
Lots of fun photo ops!
The Zero Entry pool at Chris Lowe's place.
The Bean Game.
Outlet mall shopping.
Watching huge fish get caught off the pier.


Thorns:
The car ride to Florida...Parks did great, but Joel and I were plagued with bad attitudes & sickness!
2 new teeth for Parker=fussy Parks!
Joel's hurt back from unpacking the car.
Rain for 2 1/2 days.
Parker falling underwater because I wasn't paying attention.
